Overview
The Carbon Smart™ Indoor Sauna Room Kit is a complete sauna interior package designed for residential and commercial indoor sauna installations. The 4' x 6' x 8' kit includes pre-cut interior components, Thermo Poplar wood materials, an all-glass sauna door, bench components, ventilation grilles, lighting, and sauna accessories.
The kit is designed to simplify installation by providing the interior sauna components while allowing the installer to supply the room framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and exterior wall covering. The recommended ceiling height is 8 feet, following the manufacturer's safety and clearance guidelines.
Thermo Poplar Construction
The sauna interior uses thermally modified Thermo Poplar, a wood material processed at approximately 374°F. Thermal modification is used to improve dimensional stability and resistance to changes in humidity and temperature.
The Thermo Poplar construction provides a warm wood appearance for sauna walls, ceilings, benches, trim, and duckboard flooring. The material is described as sustainably sourced and thermally modified without chemical treatment.
Customizable Bench Configurations
The included clear Thermo Poplar bench boards are 20 inches deep and are supplied with supports for the selected bench configuration. Available layouts can be chosen from the configurations shown in the product images.
The included backrests provide additional support, while angled positioning can be created during installation using additional spacers if desired.

Installation Notes
- The recommended ceiling height is 8 feet according to the manufacturer's safety and clearance guidelines.
- Custom ceiling heights should be confirmed with the manufacturer or product support team before ordering.
- The sauna shipment includes an all-glass door. Some product images may show a glass wall for reference.
- Backrests are shipped flat. Additional on-site spacers can be used to create an angled backrest position.
- Wall boards are installed horizontally as standard.
- If the room width exceeds 8 feet, an interior seam will be added where two boards meet to span the width.
- The installer is responsible for providing the room framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and exterior wall covering.
