The Carbon Smart™ Indoor Sauna Room Kit – 5' x 8' x 8' is a complete interior sauna package designed for residential or commercial indoor installations. The kit includes precisely prepared Thermo Poplar interior components, customizable bench configurations, an all-glass sauna door, ventilation components, lighting, sauna accessories, and a choice of six 8 kW Harvia heater options.

The customer provides the framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and exterior wall covering, while Carbon Smart™ supplies the interior sauna components. With an 8-foot recommended ceiling height and a flexible bench layout, this kit provides a practical way to create a dedicated wellness space in a home, gym, spa, or other commercial setting.

Premium Thermo Poplar Interior

Carbon Smart™ saunas are constructed with thermally modified Thermo Poplar, selected for its appearance, stability, and performance in sauna environments.

The Thermo Poplar is treated at approximately 374°F through a chemical-free thermal modification process. This process enhances dimensional stability and resistance to humidity and temperature fluctuations while producing a warm, rich wood tone.

Thermo Poplar is used throughout the sauna interior, including:

Customizable Bench Configurations

Choose the bench arrangement that best suits your space and intended use from the configurations shown in the product images.

The kit includes 20-inch-deep clear Thermo Poplar bench boards with supports, custom-built according to the selected configuration.

Backrests are shipped flat. If an angled backrest is preferred, appropriate spacers can be created during installation to achieve the desired pitch.

All-Glass Sauna Door

The sauna kit includes an all-glass door with wood handles and trim.

Installation Requirements

The Carbon Smart™ kit supplies the sauna's interior components. The surrounding room must be prepared separately.

The customer is responsible for:

• Framing
• Insulation
• Electrical wiring
• Exterior wall covering

The recommended ceiling height is 8 feet according to manufacturer safety and clearance guidelines. For custom ceiling heights, contact the manufacturer or seller before ordering.

Wall boards are installed in the standard horizontal direction. When room width exceeds 8 feet, an interior seam will be added where two boards meet to span the width.
