The Carbon Smart™ Indoor Sauna Room Kit – 6' x 9' x 8' is a complete interior sauna package designed for residential or commercial indoor installations. The kit includes pre-cut interior components, Thermo Poplar wall and ceiling boards, bench components, an all-glass sauna door, ventilation components, lighting, and sauna accessories.
The kit is designed to simplify sauna room construction while allowing the surrounding structure to be prepared separately. Customers provide the framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and exterior wall covering, while the Carbon Smart™ kit supplies the specified interior sauna components.
With a recommended 8-foot ceiling height, customizable bench configurations, and multiple 9 kW Harvia and EOS heater options, this kit provides a flexible solution for medium-sized indoor sauna projects.

Thermo Poplar Construction
The Carbon Smart™ sauna kit uses thermally modified Thermo Poplar for its interior components. The wood is thermally modified at approximately 374°F using a chemical-free modification process.
Thermal modification changes the wood's dimensional characteristics when exposed to variations in temperature and humidity while providing a warm, natural appearance for the sauna interior.

Sauna Door Specifications
The included all-glass sauna door has the following specifications:

- Glass: 24.4" × 77.3" (620 × 1963 mm)
- Frame Thickness: 1.65" × 3.6" (42 × 92 mm)
- Required Rough Opening: 28" × 80"
Important: The standard shipment includes an all-glass sauna door. Some product images may show a glass wall for illustration, but the included product is the all-glass door specified above.
Bench Configurations
The kit is available with multiple bench configurations. Available layouts are shown in the product images and use 20-inch-deep clear Thermo Poplar bench boards with supports.
Backrests are shipped flat. If an angled backrest is preferred, spacers can be created during installation to achieve the desired pitch.
Installation Requirements
The Carbon Smart™ kit provides the specified interior sauna components. The surrounding room and supporting construction must be prepared separately.
The customer is responsible for providing:
- Structural framing
- Insulation
- Electrical wiring
- Exterior wall covering
The recommended ceiling height is 8 feet. Contact the manufacturer or seller before ordering if a custom ceiling height is required.
Wall boards are installed in the standard horizontal direction. If the room width exceeds 8 feet, an interior seam will be incorporated where two boards meet to span the additional width.
