The kit includes pre-cut Thermo Poplar interior components, configurable bench materials, an all-glass sauna door, ventilation components, lighting, and essential sauna accessories.
The surrounding room is prepared separately, with the customer providing the framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and exterior wall covering. Carbon Smart™ supplies the specified interior components for the sauna room, helping streamline the construction and assembly process.
Designed around an 8-foot recommended ceiling height, this 7' x 9' sauna kit offers a spacious interior layout with customizable bench configurations and four Harvia heater options ranging from 10 kW to 11 kW, including WiFi-enabled models and a Combi steam option.

Thermo Poplar Construction
The Carbon Smart™ sauna kit uses thermally modified Thermo Poplar for its interior components. The wood is thermally modified at approximately 374°F using a chemical-free modification process.
The thermal modification process is designed to improve dimensional stability and resistance to changes in temperature and humidity while providing a warm, natural appearance for the sauna interior.

Sauna Door Specifications
The included all-glass sauna door has the following specifications:

- Required Rough Opening: 28" × 80"
Important: The standard shipment includes an all-glass sauna door. Some product images may show a glass wall for illustration, but the included product is the all-glass door specified above.
Bench Configurations
The kit is available with multiple bench configurations. Available layouts are shown in the product images and use 20-inch-deep clear Thermo Poplar bench boards with supports.
Backrests are shipped flat. If an angled backrest is preferred, spacers can be created during installation to achieve the desired pitch.
Installation Requirements
The Carbon Smart™ kit provides the specified interior sauna components. The surrounding room and supporting construction must be prepared separately.
The customer is responsible for providing:
- Structural framing
- Insulation
- Electrical wiring
- Exterior wall covering
The recommended ceiling height is 8 feet. Contact the manufacturer or seller before ordering if a custom ceiling height is required.
Wall boards are installed in the standard horizontal direction. If the room width exceeds 8 feet, an interior seam will be incorporated where two boards meet to span the additional width.
